The Real Reason Why People Quit Online Marketing
This is going to be a post where I put alot of truth and honesty into what most anyone would not tell you…

This post is going to be about the psychology of why this happens and more importantly why you should never worry about this whatsoever if you are really focused on building a huge business online and I will explain why…
So Why Do People Quit Their Online Business?
So here are the real reasons as to why someone leaves or quits an online business opportunity or any type of online marketing, whether it be a business opportunity or selling a product:
- Not Ready For Success – the truth of the matter for some people is that they say they want more money, time freedom, etc. and all the things that a successful online business brings…but honestly they just can’t accept or have a poor mindset to ‘accept’ success. This is true for alot of things in life whether it be with family or relationship issues or any goal someone may set for themselves but the main thing here is that some people just have really poor mindsets and need to completely change their mindset to believe they can have success at anything
- Lazy – pretty simple right here and this is something that really ‘plagues’ our industry sometimes and has developed from shady marketers who promote shady systems and promises out there to draw prospects in. Some people really believe that to have success in an online business opportunity all they have to do is just join…again this has developed from shady marketers promising untold riches to people by scamming them into ‘rotators’ or ‘we will get signups for you’ etc. etc. etc. This really attracts the WRONG kind of people. Success in anything in life comes from work and applying oneself…online marketing, while alot easier than any other kind of business, is no different
- Lack of Resolve – some people when hitting their first obstacle or problem have no strength of character or what is called ‘resolve’….they would much rather give up and quit and run vs. pushing through the obstacle and finding success. This is just the way some people are and they are the types of people who will always put the blame on the opportunity, product, or program vs doing what needs to be done. If I had any lack of resolve when I got started (and believe me I hit a ton of obstacles) I would not have found massive success so quickly like I did personally.
- Shiny Object Syndrome – there exists out there in our industry something called ‘shiny object syndrome’ and that is this….next business opportunity that pops up online with ‘revolutionary’ comp plan, ‘revolutionary’ products, etc. etc. etc. some people will jump onto and completely forget and abandon the business they are currently in. True success in any online business is focus and consistency. You can’t stop an online business from popping up every other day, but you can learn and apply yourself to marketing YOUR business and drawing tons of people in for massive success!
- Consistency – The biggest reason on why people leave or quit an online business in my opinion is the simple reason of consistency. For whatever reason some people just can’t commit and remain consistent on pretty much anything….so why would an online business be any different? If you want huge success in any endeavor in life, consistency and having a routine is EVERYTHING. Whether it’s checking emails from leads, posting on your website, marketing through free or paid advertising methods…consistency is really everything. The truth is all of what I just mentioned usually doesn’t take over a couple hours a week to do…and still some people just can’t be consistent to do this small amount of work….go figure.
So there you have it, those are 5 reasons why someone would quit or leave a business opportunity online…but most of all you have to understand that NONE of this is your fault!
If you are consistent, committed to your business all you have to do is keep marketing your business and bringing in leads and getting better as a marketer….and HUGE things will happen for you…that’s the REAL truth.
You’ll be glad to get these types of people out of your business and start attracting real winners…you only need about 5% of your leads to join you in any opportunity and duplicate success….that is the REAL TRUTH so don’t ever worry about people leaving or quitting your business….just keep marketing and marketing your program out there and BIG SUCCESS will come!
